GENERAL INFORMATION: REFUGES AND SANCTUARIES DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION

Reference: Holy Bible, Refuges and Sanctuaries: Book of Revelation, Chapter 3, Verse 10: “Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.”

Reference: Holy Bible, Refuges and Sanctuaries: Book of Prophet Zechariah, Chapter 13, Verse 9: “And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested.  They will call on my name, and I will answer them.  I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

These biblical verses refer to the refuges and sanctuaries which God has been preparing for His Faithful Remnant to dwell during the Great Tribulation of the Apocalypse.  There will be a Great Exodus — a great “harvest” separation between the good men and evil men — where God’s Faithful Remnant will be preserved from martyrdom, by instead dwelling at safe havens protected by the holy angels.  At the refuges, people will be enduring their “purgatory” while living on earth as they strive for deeper holiness as “living saints.”

The refuges include monasteries, convents, and churches where the Blessed Sacrament has been honored, adored, and worshipped for many years, called holy ground places.  Refuges also include pilgrimage sites where the Woman (Blessed Virgin Mary) has appeared throughout the centuries, and homes where people have prayed and discerned this mission from following the messages from Heaven and the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Refuges include caves.  (To learn more about the Blessed Sacrament, also known as the Most Holy Eucharist, please read Chapter 26 in Volume 2 of the Handbook).

Although refuges will be located in many places in the world, some people will be living in protected communities and enclaves defended by the holy angels.  Therefore, refuge builders should pray to discern what type of sanctuary they are being called to establish during the Great Tribulation.  There will also be refuges with specialized missions for orphanages and seminaries, etc.

This chapter about the refuges and sanctuaries is divided into three segments.  The first segment is several questions about the safe havens with answers provided by Prophet John Leary, whose mission includes helping people prepare refuges for the End Times.  The second segment is about the divine gift and usage of advanced technologies, including cold fusion, at the refuges.  The third segment is an article about bringing pets to the safe havens.  Finally, people should consider reviewing the additional information and heavenly messages about the refuges and sanctuaries found in Chapters 12, 13 and 15 in Volume 1; and the Appendix in Volume 3 of this Handbook.

SEGMENT 1.  REFUGES: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

First question: Where are the refuges?
Answer: They are located all over the world.  Some are places where Our Blessed Mother Mary has miraculously appeared throughout the centuries known as Marian apparition sites.  Some other places are monasteries, convents, or churches where the Blessed Sacrament has been honored and adored for many years called holy ground places.  Some people, after much prayer, have been led to prepare their homes as a refuge.  In the mountainous regions, there will also be caves.  Some may find that difficult, but Our Lord Jesus Christ reminds us that He was born in a cave and fled to a cave in Egypt.  Also, there will be a natural light in the cave and the temperature hovers around 50° F (10° C).  All the places of refuge will have a miraculous spring of water for healing and there will be a luminous cross over them.  Those who look upon the luminous cross and drink the blessed waters will be healed of all diseases and infirmities.

At the refuges, the food that you have will be multiplied.  Many refuge builders have been obedient in storing extra food.  The holy angels will provide the manna (bread) and deer will be miraculously provided for food, just as quail were miraculously provided to the ancient Israelites for forty years in the desert (See the Holy Bible, Old Testament, Book of Exodus).   All Marian refuges will be invisible to evil.  They will not be able to detect the faithful at the refuges by sight, sound, scent, or any other means of detection.

Second question: How will we know when to go to the refuges?
Answer: It will be after the experience of the Great Warning (Illumination of Conscience) and there will be much chaos happening in the world.  We will see these three signs: (1) the world famine where people will be killing for food; (2) a division (apostasy) in the Roman Catholic Church; and (3) mandatory microchips in the body (the mark of the beast) will be implemented.  Then you are to pray to Our Lord Jesus Christ for Him to have your guardian angel lead you with a physical sign to the nearest place of refuge.  This is similar to the ancient Israelites being led by the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day in Sacred Scriptures when they escaped slavery in ancient Egypt (See Holy Bible, Old Testament, Book of Exodus).  A flame will appear and your guardian angel will lead you away.  You will not return to your homes.  It is not really necessary to know where you will go, just trust in God.  If there is fuel for your car, you may drive at least part of the way, but bicycles or foot may be needed the rest of the way.  The refuges will be protected by holy angels, who will be visible and they will protect you even from a nuclear attack.  The dwellings will be multiplied in many refuges and floors will be added where there is limited space.  We will know who will be with us as they will be marked with a cross on their foreheads.  Those without a cross will not be with us.  Some of the faithful are marked now and the rest will be marked after the Great Warning.  We know this is very difficult to believe and understand, but the Lord is going to do the impossible.  Also, according to Father Michel Rodrigue of Canada, as people are fleeing their homes for the refuges, God desires them to pray Psalm 91 (Holy Bible) for divine protection.  (Please see the Appendix in Volume 3 for the words of Psalm 91; or, Psalm 90 in certain Holy Bible translations).

You will have only twenty (20) minutes to depart your homes once you are finally called by inner locution or dream by God.  Everything should be prepared and packed ahead of time, including your tools of trade, so you do not miss your chance to escape martyrdom or other wicked plans of the evil ones, once the gates of hell are reopened after the six and a half weeks of reprieve have ended in the aftermath of the Great Warning.

Third question: Backpack Information: What supplies should we bring to the refuges?
Answer: First, we need our spiritual blessed sacramentals: Holy Bibles, rosaries, scapulars, St. Benedictine crosses, holy water, and blessed candles.  Physical things to bring would be extra travel food, water, warm clothes, a deer knife, and shovel.  We are to do what we can to prepare in a reasonable manner.  What is needed is trust, love, and prayer; not fear or anxiety.  We are to share what we have and not hoard it, because what we need will be multiplied.  Note: People should have extra sets of undergarments, because underwear and socks are the hardest to sew and knit to satisfy individual comfort.

Due to many people asking what to take to the refuges, Prophet John Leary and his wife, Carol, have compiled a list of recommendations from Our Lord Jesus Christ.  They have also included a few suggestions of their own:

(JESUS) Spiritual Recommendations: Blessed salt, holy water, Pieta Prayer Book, rosaries, scapulars, small Bible, Benedictine Cross, Mass Missal, relics if you have them, blessed candles, medals – St. Michael Archangel, St. Benedict, Miraculous Medal.

(JESUS) Material Recommendations: Warm clothes, blanket, small tent, fold up shovel, bicycle and helmet, fold-up maps, poncho, windup flashlight, food and water to multiply, masks-surgical, deer knife, and sleeping bag.

Other suggestions: Soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, sanitary wipes, small first aid kit, water filter bottle, gloves, matches, paper and pencil, scissors, whistle, boots, string and rope, plastic zipper bags (for books), toilet paper, detergent.

These are small amounts of things to put into the backpacks, which may be rolling backpacks or small suitcases.  Our Lord Jesus Christ is reminding us to have a rehearsal for leaving for the refuges.  Pray to have the grace to be at peace without fear.  Jesus will do the impossible in multiplying what we need.  Place our total trust in Him and His Eternal Father, Papa God.  (See Prayers for Purification and Multiplication of Food under the Appendix in Volume 3).

Additional Information: Of importance, the refuges will be self-sustaining, but also spiritually connected as a refuge network, so information and heavenly messages can be dispersed throughout the world.  Also, within the refuge network, there may be very limited travel by priests, chosen messengers, etc., and for sharing of resources, etc.

I, “a soul” share the fact about the interconnectedness between refuges, because of a conversation I had once with Our Lord Jesus Christ.  I expressed my concern about “separated families” during the three and a half year period of the Great Tribulation of the Apocalypse.  Separated families include parents who may be working in other countries to financially support their children living with relatives in home countries, persons who are engaged but living great distances from each other, young adults and teenagers studying abroad, and other scenarios.  From the conversation, I know Our Lord is going to make it possible for certain families to be reunited during the Great Tribulation.  That way, parents will be there to see their children grow up, romantic couples will be able to have holy marriages and raise children, etc., because Our God loves happy families, children, and babies.

After the Great Warning, people should not worry if they end up in a crisis situation where they are separated from loved ones.  God has a definite plan to reunite families so they are not permanently separated.  If you find yourself isolated or your loved one is isolated when the Great Warning happens, please take heart that God cares deeply about you.  First, you need to get yourself to a refuge when Our Lord calls you to depart by inner locution (interior voice) or dream.  Then once you are safe at a local refuge, God will make it possible for you to travel protected through the refuge network to the final refuge that your family or loved ones are living.  Do not worry.  Just get yourself to the safety of the nearest refuge, then God will provide the miraculous means for families to be together.

The vast majority of people will be called by the Lord by inner locution (interior voice) or dream to a refuge once the six and a half weeks reprieve in the aftermath of the Great Warning has ended.  This means that most people will be called by the Lord once evil has returned and the antichrist will be making his presence known on earth.  However, Our Lord Jesus Christ has told me, “a soul”, recently that some people will be called to the refuges earlier than anticipated, sometime during the six and a half weeks reprieve.  So there will be a few “early access” refuges.  Therefore, several people may already be living at a refuge BEFORE the gates of hell are unlocked again by God.

God has special reasons for starting the Great Exodus to the refuges early.  He wants some people to gradually enter the safe havens in manageable groups for the refuge owners AND He desires to heal some people earlier due to their severe illnesses, disabilities, and injuries.  Of significance, the holy angels will miraculously transport people who are too hurt or injured or too disabled; for instance, those who are not ambulatory and are unable to travel by themselves or with human help to the refuges.  The holy angels will also carry the orphaned children who have no one to take care of them to the refuges.

Some people may already be living at a refuge before the Great Miracle and Great Sign of Garabandal (Spain) is given by God on earth to strengthen the faith of God’s beloved people, since both miraculous events will happen in the latter days of the six and a half weeks reprieve in the aftermath of the Great Warning.  However, people will STILL BE ABLE to witness the Great Miracle and Great Sign on televisions, computer screens, internet devices, etc., as it is taking place LIVE on earth.  All people, including those living at refuges, will only need to remove ALL TECHNOLOGY once the six and a half weeks reprieve has finally ended and NOT beforehand.  Recall, once the reprieve has ended, satan, the antichrist, and all the evil spirits will be permitted to return to the surface of the earth.  Therefore, all technology needs to be removed which will be used against humanity for evil and wicked purposes, including controlling people who accept the mark of the beast (embedded physical microchip).

(August 24, 2023, Prophet John Leary) JESUS CHRIST: “My son, I have given you many messages on this subject of when to stop using your cell phones. I am repeating what I told you before in case there may be some confusion on this subject. You may need your cell phones after the Warning and during the six weeks of the Conversion time to help convert your family to be true believers in Me. There will not be any evil influence during the Conversion time, so you will not be blocked in any conversion efforts. After the six weeks of Conversion, you need to get rid of your cell phones, computers, and monitors to avoid looking at the eyes of the Antichrist.”

SEGMENT 2.  PRAYER FOR THE DIVINE GIFT OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES

Cold fusion technology is on the cutting edge and is a clean, safe, and free source of unlimited energy that holds the desirable promise of potentially lifting up billions of people out of severe famine and extreme poverty throughout the world. It is now being used to power heating and cooling systems and supplying all energy needs by the elites in the New World Order (NWO). Its availability is being suppressed by the elites who have installed it in their own hidden communities.

Cold fusion technology is totally self-contained, meaning refuges could have all their energy needs met, while remaining off-grid. It is not dependent on variable resources like sunlight or fossil fuels. For example, a cup of water could potentially provide enough energy to power a modern residential farm for a year.

It is in keeping with God’s Holy Will that He grant all the advanced technologies that the refuges might need, in addition to cold fusion.  But refuge builders will still need to pray so the refuges can be worthy of receiving such great gifts from God’s Hands.

The Caritas Community of Alabama (USA) runs the largest Medjugorje apostolate in the world and the most comprehensive website dedicated to the Medjugorje apparitions of Our Holy Mother Mary. They broadcast regular radio shows promoting the monthly message of Our Blessed Mother. However, the Holy Spirit has revealed to me “a soul” that Caritas has a critical mission for the future of the refuges.

Caritas has built an impressive technological infrastructure on their two properties. At refuging time, Caritas will be acting as “central headquarters” for disseminating heavenly messages from different chosen messengers and any more developments of the Divine Plan throughout the refuge network. Prayers are needed that everything regarding Caritas will come together according to God’s Supreme Will.  (Note: These statements about the Caritas Community should not be construed as their endorsement of this Handbook.)

SPECIAL REFUGE OWNER PRAYER:

“Dearest Mother Mary, we ask for the intervention of your Spouse, the Holy Spirit within our Refuge, so that through His Inspirations and counsels, He guides us and all the members of this home to make and take the correct decisions and actions. We ask that He guide and oversee all our daily activities, and give us Christ’s Peace. Through the gentle hands of Our Lady, we give to you all our faults, sins and shortcomings. We ask Heaven that only the people chosen by the holy angels arrive at our Home and that we are Protected from ALL evil from today on. Amen.”

“We plead that our Home and all God’s refuges be given the cold fusion technology that will run these sanctuary houses and all our life sustaining appliances and farm equipment. We also ask that special graces be given to the Caritas Community for enhancements of its technology to link and communicate with all refuges during the Great Tribulation. After the Great Warning, we ask Our Lord for a full healing – that all emotional, spiritual, physical and mental disorders and wounds be healed for those who come to our Refuge.”  

“We ask that God the Father please sustain all our electronic and plumbing appliances with cold fusion technology, and maintain our communication systems during the Harbinger Week of the Great Warning, as well as during the six and a half weeks aftermath, so this Refuge may continue to function while we gather our families and evangelize loved ones, children, brothers and sisters in Christ, etc.”

“LORD, in great hope, faith, and trust in You, we humbly beg for the miracle of forewarning one hour in advance of the Great Earthquake.  We ask this special grace for ourselves, our families, and our loved ones gathered here.  Please bless us and protect us in Your Most Precious Blood. AMEN.”

SEGMENT 3.  PETS ARE WELCOME AT THE REFUGES DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION (APOCALYPSE)

Please also read Chapter 13 in Volume 1 of this Handbook for more instructions about acceptable pets and domesticated animals at the refuges.

Firstly, I, “a soul” of Mary Refuge Of Souls, want people to know that I have spoken twice about pets with Prophet John Leary, whose mission is to prepare people for living at the refuges in the End Times.  I have confirmed twice with John, back in 2015 and again in 2020, that pets are welcome at the refuges.  Now, when I mean pets, I am referring to domesticated animals like dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, etc., and not exotic animals that are harmful to people like wild animals or snakes, spiders, etc.  Please use your better judgment as your pets will need to be well-behaved.  On the larger refuges, there may even be farm animals and horses, etc.

If you desire to bring a pet to the refuge, please make sure that they are secure in a carrier or leash.  You should bring a little bit of pet food, so it can be replicated by God in prayer, as well as a bowl, container, etc., to place the food and water in for your pet.  Please be prudent in making wise decisions on what to bring for your pet.

Recall, the Lord is only going to give us about 20 minutes to leave our homes for the refuges when we receive our notice by inner locution (an interior voice) or warning dream from God.  Please understand the priorities when evacuating, which are people and not pets in an emergency.  If you have a pet, it is important that you “psychologically” accept that you might need to leave them behind.  Since you will have only 20 minutes to leave your home, it is far more important to make sure you have all the children and that they are secure and not panicking in the car, etc., than to locate the absent dog on your property.  Humans always come first before animals.  That is the simple truth.

In the past, I had the opportunity to speak to the wife of John Leary and she told me something that will be very comforting to those who have pets and have to make hard decisions when the moment of evacuation comes.  When John was given a message from Our Lord Jesus Christ about pets being welcome at refuges, John was also given an accompanying vision.  This is the vision: John saw men on motorcycles with pets like cats in cages strapped to the back of their bikes; he also saw all kinds of animals including pets like dogs running towards the refuges.  I share the vision with everyone who has pets to let people know that God is going to do the miraculous.  Now, this does not automatically mean your pet will end up at the same refuge that you are called to; but at least you can have comfort if you have to leave your pets behind that God will take care of them.  You should leave a little bit of pet food and water behind and give your pet access to the outdoors.  God cares about the lesser creatures more than mankind does.  Prepare to witness God doing miraculous things involving the animals.  Most especially, you should pray the holy angels guard your pets left behind so God may permit the holy angels to carry your pets to you at the refuges.  You should also, if possible, attach a blessed medal of any one of these Saints to the collar or carriers of your pets: Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Joseph, Saint Benedict, or Saint Patrick of Ireland, etc.  God bless.
